TV star Priya Bathija, last seen prominently in Ekta Kapoor's Daayan, will finally be divorced in June 2020. All counselling sessions are over, the waiting period if she and her hubby DJ Kawaljeet want to get back is up- and now it is a matter of 4 more months before Priya and Kawaljeet will cease to be man and wife.
Confirming this with SpotboyE.com, Priya said, "Haan, June tak divorce mil jayega. It is better that my ordeal ends soon," and quickly added, "It's time now that I focus only my career and family."
Rewind: Priya had EXCLUSIVELY had a long chat with us, citing why her marriage ended so soon (it was only in May 2017 that she married). Priya had alleged that it was a case of domestic violence and Kawaljeet was using her as a ticket to spread his life and name in Mumbai. The actress had even filed a complaint in this regard at Oshiwara Police Station.
It is a sad end to something that could have been beautiful. But who can tide over destiny?
