Debina Bonnerjee and her husband Gurmeet Choudhary are expecting their second baby after the birth of their first child baby Lianna. The actress has updated her fans by taking them through her second pregnancy. She has actively documented her pregnancy and now she has shared a BTS video from her maternity shoot.
But, this time fans do not seem pleased with mother’s going bold by showing off more skin and flaunting their baby bump. Unfortunately, fans have also questioned the ‘necessity of such shoots.’
For the unversed, Hollywood star and pop icon Rihanna was instrumental in the growth of this trend and she set new maternity fashion standards. Her maternity shoots were also a huge hit amongst the netizens and they still enjoy the same.
Coming back to Debina, in the recently shared video, was seen decked up in a black tube top and matching thigh-high stockings. She flaunted her baby bump while posing in a white overshirt and black high heels. Her curls and make-up were all done perfectly.
However, it instantly invited mixed reviews from social media users. While it was surprising for some, many congratulated the couple on the news, some weren’t happy with the maternity shoot. They even trolled her over a clip she shared on Instagram.
Sadly, it was Debina’s outfit that irked the netizens as she opted for a black tube top. She also wore high heels for the photo session. Social media users have been reacting to the clip and some are trolling her for her dressing choice.
Reacting to Debina’s outfit choice, one Instagram user wrote, "Debi this is not nice bakvass hai western main karthe hai isliye hum bhi kare yeh zauri nahi hai (sic)." Another said, "Why do you have to show naked stomach. This trend is disgusting. Motherhood is beautiful and should pray for child’s safety. Photoshoot will heels on (sic)."
One wrote, "I think Indian dress me bhi better shoot ho jata, zaruri toh nahi ki western dresses ko hi follow kiya jaye." Another wrote, "Shame on you. This isn't our Indian culture." Debina and Gurmeet welcomed their baby daughter Lianna earlier this year. They tied the knot in 2011 and after 11 years of marriage, the couple's first child was born.
