A few days ago, cyclone Tauktae created havoc in the city. Celebs urged everyone to stay indoors. However, Deepika Singh Goyal, who is popularly known for playing the role of Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum took to Instagram and shared a series of photos and a video of herself dancing and posing amid uprooted trees. The actress was trolled left, right and centre for doing so.

After receiving hate on social media, Deepika Singh now shared her views on the matter. Speaking to ETimes, Deepika said, 'I will not stop spreading positivity, and this is for my well-being and happiness.' The actress then added that she doesn't regret it but, 'I would definitely request the audience to not step out in the rain, this area is right outside my house. Therefore, I stepped out for 5 mins.'

The Diya Aur Baati Hum actress further shared that she didn't mean to be insensitive by posing near an uprooted tree. She then explained that 5 years ago, she had planted the tree in front of their house.
