Diya Aur Baati Hum Actress Deepika Singh’s fitness transformation has taken the Internet by storm. The actress whom viewers have loved in the character of Sandhya Rathi embraced motherhood in real life, post the show. But let us tell you that she is working extremely hard on her body before making her much-awaited comeback. Her recent pictures on social media will raise your eyebrows instantly.

Deepika posted a picture on her Instagram page and wrote “Monday is incomplete without workout. Have a kick-ass week everyone”.


We got in touch with the actress to know about this transformation and she said, “Thank you. I am working extremely hard for this. Last year, in September after my delivery I was offered a show but I wanted to give time to my health and not work that time. So I didn’t take up that show. From then until now, have turned from 72 to 49.5kg. My goal is not to get six packs abs but to have a fit body.”


She adds, “I have taken my workout as work. I show the same dedication to my fitness as if I am going on shooting every day. Atleast 90 minutes, I workout without fail. In my workouts, I practice Odissi dance, Yoga and at times Zummba which is the new form of exercise I am learning these days. Not only this, but I also follow a strict diet and make sure that I don’t cheat myself.” 


Elaborating ahead, she says, “I believe if you do an early morning workout that helps you to plan your day better. Also I would advice whatever happens never miss to work out on a Monday. If you fail to work on Monday, you get laid back on rest of the days but if you do it you get the kick to do it whole week.”

She further speaks about her future plans, “I am happy to share with you that my recent pictures are actually helping me to get good offers. I have been getting young and energetic roles on which I am contemplating and soon will share good news with you. I would love to be a fitness motivation.”
