Devoleena Bhattacharjee responds to netizens who trolled her for wasting cake on her pet dog Angel’s birthday!
It is no secret that TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee is very close to her pet dog Angel and recently she celebrated her birthday by cutting cakes. The ex-Bigg Boss contestant shared a video of celebrating Angel’s birthday and feeding cake to her on social media, however, she got brutally trolled after netizens slammed her for wasting cake on her pet dog. Devoleena hit back at the troll asking to share charity photos for publicity.
On Sunday, the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actress shared an adorable video of her holding Angel in her arm, cutting two cakes. Her husband Shanawaz Shaikh was also seen sitting and singing ‘happy birthday’. Devoleena tried several times to feed Angel cake but every time she turned her face away. However, her pet dog was later seen eating the cake. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “About Last Night. It was my heartbeat’s birthday. And thank you so much MAMAs & MAASIs for the birthday cake.” She also added Lata Mangeshkar's song ‘Chanda Hai Tu Mera Suraj Hai Tu as the background music in the video. ALSO READ: WHAT! While slamming Devoleena, one of the netizens commented, “Yaaha dekho janab. Kai log aise hai jise ye bhi nhi pata ki cake ka taste kaise hota hai aur ye log dogs k liye cake waste karte hai.” Replying to this, the Gopi Bahu wrote, “Toh aap jakar taste karwaiye na. Kisne roka hai aapko? Rahi baat main kisko kya khila rahi usspe tippani karne ki aap koi bhii nahi hai..toh jaaiye charity k photos please share kijiyega publicity k liye.”
Another troll wrote, “Do you know the income, lifestyle disparity of 130 crore Indians? There are maximum people who struggle to meet both end needs. That fellow commented on that thing. We all are not as rich as you. Buying a cake for birthday once a year is just like going on cloud nine. Come to reality.” To this, Devoleena replied, “Accept the reality and do something for it. Commenting unnecessary negative things on others' celebrations shown just the negative mentality than to be emphatic about that 130 crores. If you feel so then go and do something for it.”
To note, Devoleena has been on the receiving end ever since she announced her wedding to gym trainer Shanawaz Shaikh. The couple got married last year in December in a low-key ceremony.
