Newlywed actress Mouni Roy is currently judging the dance reality show DID Lil Masters along with Sonali Bendre and Remo D’souza. In a recent promo, Mouni was seen breaking down into tears after one of the contestants shared his story of struggle. After the performance, the contestant shared how his family struggled during a pandemic to get the basic amenities.
The video starts with contestant Anand Kumar’s father selling vegetables and sharing how his work suffered due to lockdown. Recalling the incident, Anand breaks down and shares how his friends tease him saying, ‘Tere Papa Sabzi Bechte Hai.’ The 10 year-old-contestant performed on B Praak’s song ‘ Maan Bhareya’ and impressed the judges with his impressive dance moves.
Watching him perform, Mouni couldn’t hold her tears and got emotional on the show. Sonali was surprised to learn how today’s kids keep their feelings and emotions inside while observing everything that goes around. She was heard saying, “Ye jo cheezein hoti hain, bachche apne kitna andar rakhte hain”. The Gold actress shared the promo on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “Dance ek zariya hai apne jazbaaton ko bayaan karne ka, aur #AnandKumar ka yeh performance unki zindagi ke baare mein bahut kuch keh gaya.”
For the uninitiated, Mouni Roy marks her comeback on the small screen after five years with DID Lil Master. She was last seen in Naagin 2 which was a superhit supernatural show.
