Digangana Suryavanshi Opens Up On The Rumours Of Joining The Cast Of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Popular TV show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai taking a leap that hinted at the makers planning to rope in many new faces as the show proceeds. One of the names to join the show is actress Digangana Suryavanshi. The actress is rumoured to join the show, finally now in conversation with ETimes TV she agreed that she has been offered a lot of TV shows, but is not keen to sign any of them. The actress expressed to concentrate on films and OTT content now. Also shooting for back to back 4 films and OTT content, she is happily exploring this new space.
Denying the news of entering Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she told the portal, “I am being offered many TV roles, but right now I have completely shifted my focus towards films. So any news around me entering a daily soap isn’t true at all. All my dates are completely blocked. I am shooting back to back for 4 different films and OTT projects. I am happy to explore the digital medium.” When asked why she left TV, she mentioned it was her conscious decision.
Also, TV shows take up every single day, she said, “It is a conscious decision to not do television as I can't keep up with a daily show commitment. Daily soaps require an investment of every single day.” Working since the age of 7, she appeared in the TV reality show Bigg Boss when she was 18. She further added post this show, she explored the films arena. She adds, “I was 18 when I did Bigg Boss. Uske baad I wanted to explore and see how films turn out for me. I feel I have given a good part of my life to television that too at a very young age. Of course, I still love TV and I wouldn't have been where I am today if not for television.”
