‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame actress Dipika Kakar, who is pregnant with her first child, recently made headlines after in an interview she stated she now wants to live her life as a housewife and a mother. She mentioned that she has told her husband Shoaib that she does not want to work now and thus wants to quit acting. Soon after this, media portals were flooded with stories claiming Dipika has quit the TV industry. Now, the mother-to-be has issued a clarification where she said people misunderstood her comments.
Speaking with Etimes, Dipika stated she has always craved to live a life as a housewife, but that doesn't mean she is not interested to work ever again. She was quoted as saying, “I just came across this news of me quitting acting as a career. People misunderstood my comments from my previous interview that I've given up acting. So I would just like to clarify there is nothing like that. I have always craved to live a life of a housewife (mujhe humesha se housewife banana tha). Shoaib would go to office and I would make breakfast for him and take care of the house. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to work ever again.” ALSO READ: WHAT!
