Television actress Disha Parmar and singer Rahul Vaidya are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time after tying the knot in July 2021. Announcing their pregnancy, she took to her official social media handle to pictures of her baby bump and the sonography. The announcement has left their fans elated and they are being showered with well wishes and love from not only their admirers but also from their industry friends.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Disha posted a picture with Rahul, where she can be seen posing alongside him, while showing her baby bump. Dressed in black clothes, the singer can be seen holding a slate that reads ‘Mummy & Daddy’. In the caption, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actress wrote, “Hello from Mummy Daddy to be & the BABY!!” Fans and industry friends immediately took to the comment section of her post to congratulate them over the new addition to their family. For the unversed, the couple tied the knot in July 2021 in Mumbai after the musician proposed to the actress during Bigg Boss season 14, where she was a contestant. They had been dating for a few years before that. Talking about how they got together, during an interview with Zoom, Rahul had shared, “I had done a song 'Mere Rashke Qamar', which went viral on social media. She happened to see it on Jitesh Pillai's Instagram. And that's the time she actually went up to my profile and she just dropped a message that 'loved it and very well sung'. And that's the time we started talking to each other on Instagram first.”
On the work front, Disha was last seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 alongside Nakuul Mehta.
