Late actor Divya Bhatnagar who featured in the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai passed away on December 7. The actor had tested positive for Coronavirus a few days ago, due to which her oxygen levels were affected and was hospitalised immediately; unfortunately, she breathed her last on Monday after fighting with COVID-19, leaving everyone in grief. Now, a day after her death, her brother Devashish Bhatnagar said that she had penned a letter on November 7 which is a month before her tragic demise. Her brother mentioned that they have found the letter recently which has some shocking and disturbing details about her marital life. Her brother revealed that Divya had stated that Gagan tortured and abused her.
Speaking to Times Of India, Divya’s brother Devashish revealed, “Gagan started torturing Divya physically and mentally soon after their marriage. She had written a note on November 7, in which she had stated that Gagan tortures and abuses her. We found the note in her cupboard yesterday. She had also approached the police and filed an NC on November 16 against him, following an episode of domestic abuse. I had told her to stay strong when I got to talk to her during her hospitalisation.”
Earlier, Bigg Boss 13's Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared a video on her Instagram where she had also blamed Divya’s husband for torturing the late actor mentally and physically. She accused him of sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Meanwhile, after her death, her friend Yuvraj Raghuvanshi informed SpotboyE.com about her sad demise. He also informed that she had been shifted to Seven Hills Hospital and was suffering from breathing issues. "At 3, doctors declared her dead. It's a big shock for me and her family. May her soul rest in peace" he told us.
