With the pandemic affecting many people across the country, as days pass by, there is a constant hike in the patients testing positive for the deadly virus. It was just recently when Diya Aur Bati Hum actress Deepika Singh who lives with her husband and son in Mumbai shared a video seeking help from government officials in Delhi as her mother tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the Kavach 2 actress thanks Delhi CM for an immediate response as her COVID-19 positive mother gets admission in a hospital and hopes for her speedy recovery.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Deepika Singh tweeted, “Thank you to Delhi Govt & health minister for the immediate response to my tweet & video. Finally my mother got admission in Sir Gangaram hospital. Hoping for her speedy recovery msisodia arvindkejriwal…” In the tweet, the Diya Aur Bati Hum actress thanked the Delhi government and all the officials that helped her family and mother. Deepika Singh thanked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the immediate response to her tweet and video that she shared earlier.

The Kavach 2 actress then went on to mention in her tweet further that her COVID-19 positive mother has finally been admitted to the Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi. Hoping for the speedy recovery of her beloved mother, Deepika Singh made sure she thanked everyone who responded to her desperate plea in the times of crisis.


Meanwhile, for the unversed, Deepika Singh shared a video about a few days seeking help from the Delhi Government and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after her 59-year-old mother tested positive for COVID-19. In her plea to the officials, Deepika requested for proper testes to be conducted of her family members for their safety, as well as sought help to get her mother admitted to a hospital.
