TV czarina Ekta Kapoor has made some iconic shows for Indian television for more than a decade now. Recently, Ekta attended her nephew, Laksshya Kapoor’s birthday bash on June 1 and several photos and videos of her surfaced online. For the outing, she wore a loose printed shirt paired with baggy black-coloured pants and heels. However, Ektaa was spotted continuously adjusting her dress in public as she looked uncomfortable.
In a video that has gone viral, the TV producer was seen adjusting her attire when paparazzi photographers clicked her. She also happily posed for the shutterbugs. Soon after the video of Ekta adjusting her dress went viral, netizens started trolling Ekta saying money can’t buy class and grace. Reacting to this clip, one user commented, “All the money in the world and yes no class, poise, grace.” Another said, “As always... uncomfortable lady in wierd style.”
A third user wrote, “If ur so uncomfortable why ware those ridiculous clothes. There r beautiful Indian clothes for celebrations. Seriously everyone wants to look like western. But the westerners don't believe in uncomfortable clothes. They only want to be in something very comfy only. No matter how rich ur.”
However, many fans also came out in support of Ekta and slammed the pap for sharing this video. Expressing the same, one Insta user wrote, "shame on you media you should have edit the video while a person fixing the dress.”Earlier, in January Ekta faced backlash for wearing a satin maxi dress with strappy sleeves. She often comes under the radar of trolls for her fashion choices.
Work-wise, the noted producer has a lot to offer this year as she has 4 big-budget films lined up along with several TV shows and web content coming up. Ekta is also bankrolling Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh starrer upcoming film 'The Crew'.
