Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is all set to
hit your TV screen. And TV czarina is keeping no stone unturned to promote the
show, which is extremely close to her heart. One of the ideas to give the
second instalment a big push is bringing India’s most loved and romantic
superstar, Shah Rukh Khan on board to promote the show, starring Erica
Fernandes and Parth Samthaan.
Ekta and Shah Rukh have shot for a promotional video, which the producer has
shared on Instagram with a caption, “Oooooops!!!!! I was dying to say it’s u
sir @iamsrk !
But I shut up! Otherwise I’m in love with.... my work #hAlftruths #mugshots”
The idea is to bring forward love stories and talk about romance.
In the video, Ekta and SRK are seen standing against the
backdrop of candles, satin curtains, and flowers. Shah Rukh then asks Ekta
about her love life, which makes her blush and she eventually says, “I love
you, sir”
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, SRK and Ekta
met at a party recently and the superstar agreed to announce the reboot’s
arrival with a promotional video. “Following a brainstorming session, Ekta
decided to join in and the two discuss timeless romance on camera with SRK
playfully prodding Ekta about her love life,” a source told the
tabloid. You may recall we had brought to you exclusive details of
the second promo starring Erica and Parth together. And now the
show’s team is headed to Kolkata to film a special track since the male lead’s
family is Bengali. Hina Khan, who plays Komolika in the reboot, will also join
them.
