EXCLUSIVE! Naagin Fame Lokesh Batta Speaks Up About Facing Casting Couch Experience; Reveals Enduring ‘Mental And Physical Torment’
Things can escalate really quickly in the entertainment industry and many artists have faced many embarrassing moments in their workplaces. While many have shared heartbreaking stories from their past, and now, Naagin actor Lokesh Batta revealed about facing casing experiences before making a successful debut.

Batta spoke about facing a nasty casting couch experience, and shared that while it is a common phenomenon for female aspirants, the entertainment industry in general, ‘seems like an exotic topic of discussion everywhere’.

The actor put up a brave display as he reminisced about the traumatic experience and revealed that he never gave up and continued to work harder.

"People in showbiz face a lot of struggle. Be that is about casting couch or favouritism. And yes unfortunately it’s common for female aspirants and the entertainment industry seems like an exotic topic of discussion everywhere. Many newcomers have to go through the mental and physical torment of the casting couch. I have faced it too but I never gave up and continued to work hard. People from the fashion industry asked for favours but I simply refused. I always considered my work talent to be superior so I never compromised on such things. Always keep reminding myself that.. Ek din mera time aayega," said Lokesh Batta.

Lokesh Batta previously played the negative role of Jass in  Udaariyaan and received a lot of appreciation for playing a villain. Currently, he is playing a positive role in Naagin. His character helps Naagin (Tejaswi Prakash) to fight her enemies.

Ask him how challenging was to convince the audience of a bad boy image he tells, "I think a good actor performs with naturalism. I mean one has to work on the scene to make the audience believe it. So once I have the script and understand the character and then have to feel the sense of my role's reality and after that comes the voice and the variation of intensity. That's how we actors can easily convince our audience to the current version of our role and make them forget the previous one."

Lokesh also revealed that he's single and not dating anyone currently but he does plan to settle down in future.

He added, "Right now I am totally focusing on my acting career, my shoots and at the moment I'm surviving with many responsibilities. Right now I am single and yes I definitely want to settle down some time in the future but not immediately."
