Yash Chopra's wife Pamela Chopra passed away due to pneumonia this morning. She was 74. As per reports, Pamela was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for the past 15 days and was put on a ventilator. Today morning her health deteriorated and she breathed her last. Her funeral was held today at 11 am and many celebrities including her daughter-in-law Rani Mukerji, son Uday Chopra, actor Hrithik Roshan with his father Rakesh Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan with son Aryan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Sonu Nigam, and others arrived to pay their last respects.

In the photos that have surfaced online, Hrithik was seen sitting in a car with his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. Rani was seen arriving with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. In another viral video, singer Sonu Nigam was seen arriving with his wife. Uday Chopra on reaching the spot greeted the media with folded hands. In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, SRK dressed in a white shirt and pants along with his son could be seen arriving at Pamela’s funeral. Announcing the sad news of Pamela Chopra’s demise, Yash Raj shared a statement on their official Instagram handle and it read, “With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 am today in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection (sic).”

Many celebs such as Javed Akhtar, Ajay Devgn, Raghav Juyal, and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit among others mourned the sad demise of Pamela on social media.
