Farah Khan Returns To Indian Idol After 10 years, Joins Anu Malik & Sonu Nigam For Season 7
Buzz is strong that filmmaker Farah Khan will be the third judge for Indian Idol Season 7. Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam and Farah Khan judged the first two seasons of the reality show
Few days back SpotboyE.com told you about Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam reuniting after 10 years as judges for Indian Idol Season 7 (Sonu Nigam And Anu Malik To Judge Indian Idol Together After 10 Years?, Sep 14).
And now to complete this Jodi, we hear Farah Khan is all set to join the judge’s panel. If this happens, then the trio will be back on the show after 10 years. They last judged the show together for Season 2.

Looks like this is a reunion year for Farah Khan, as she also returned as a judge on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 9 after ten years. She was one of the first judges for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as well, back in 2006 along with Shilpa Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Coming back to Indian Idol, the show itself is returning to the Television world after 4 years. We didn't see Indian Idol after 2012.
As far as Farah, Anu Malik and Sonu are concerned, the trio made a lot of noise as judges in the first two seasons. Their chemistry was amazing and made the show even more interesting. However, Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam were replaced by Alisha Chinai and Javed Akhtar along with Udit Narayan for Season 3.

Abhijeet Sawant, Sandeep Acharya, Prashant Tamang, Sourabhee Debbarma, Sreeramchandra Mynampati and Vipul Mehta have won the six seasons held so far. Last year, we saw Indian Idol Junior 2 which was won by Ananya Nanda. The first Indian Idol Junior was won by Anjana Padmanabhan.
The first two seasons were hosted by Mini Mathur and Aman Varma. Hussain Kuwajerwala replaced Aman in Season 3. Hussain was joined by Meinyang Chang in Season 4 and Abhijeet Sawant in Season 5; Mini had delivered her second child. Mini, however, returned to join Hussain in Season 6.

We still don’t know who is hosting this year’s season but with Farah, Sonu and Anu Malik coming together after a decade; let’s hope that the trio creates the same magic in Season 7 too.
