Senior film and TV actor Suresh Chatwal, popular as Police Commissioner Suraj Agnihotri in comedy show FIR, is no more.
The actor died on May 28 (Saturday), following a prolonged illness and was cremated yesterday.
“With great grief, I inform you that my father, Suresh Chatwal is no more between us. He left for heavenly aboard succumbing to his ongoing illness,” his son Yaman said in a statement.
Chatwal, who made his acting debut with Hindi film Rakhi Rakhi (1969), has been part of Bollywood hits like Karan Arjun (1995), Koyla (1997) and Munna Bhai MBBS (2003).
