Gauahar Khan BLASTS A News Channel For ‘Running Propagandas’ On #MuslimLivesMatter; Says, 'All Lives Matter, You Are The One Who Incite Hate'
As George Floyd’s death continues to create the furor amongst the US citizens, celebrities across the globe and big personalities too are keeping their stance against America. Having said that in India, a few netizens did voice their opinion on how here too one must start #MuslimLivesMatter. Though there have always been various thoughts expressed on social media, this campaign hasn't taken center stage yet. But it seems like our news channels would like to shift focus from Coronavirus pandemic to non-issues like these. Times Now has gone on to do a special news hour debate on the topic 'Muslim Lives Matter' and said it exposed the Lobby that is inciting this propaganda. They also go on to "close" that this narrative is being forcefully pushed. 

Times Now's tweet read, "As America burns with ‘hate’ crimes, Lutyens draws Delhi riots analogy in the guise of protesting discrimination & push ‘Muslim lives matter’ campaign. Pseudo-secularist-leftist gang EXPOSED. ‘Is this dubious bid to incite India’s Muslims?’INDIA UPFRONT. | #LobbyIncitesMuslims". Looking at this tweet, Gauahar Khan has become the first celebrity to react on the same. Re-tweeting a video of news channel, former Bigg Boss winner wrote, “All lives matter ! All lives matter ! Get it??? Why can’t u agree n run an episode on that !!!! U are the ppl who incite hate in the first place , n run these propaganda of hate on ur shows ! Shouldn’t Muslim lives matter ???? Do u have disagree ??? All lives matter ”

Using the hashtag, a user tagged Priyanka Chopra and asked her, “@priyankachopra good to see your solidarity for #GeorgeFloydWasMurdered and #BlackLivesMatter. But why are you silent on institutional Islamophobic violence in our own India's police against Muslims and persons presumed to be Muslim? Please say #MuslimLivesMatter in India?”


A user shared a picture from a protest and wrote in the caption, “Why Muslim lives are so cheap in India? Why police and Hindutva thugs kill Muslims at will with full impunity? Why no one talking about it? Where are our so called thekedaars?
