Gauahar Khan’s Boyfriend Rupin Pahwa Makes TV Debut With Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi

Gauahar had made their new romance public at the Coldplay concert they have been together for some three months now.
The singer, who earlier had a stint in theatre and indie films, is making his TV debut with producer Nivedita Basu’s second serial story Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. The show deals with relationship turmoil between two girls whose life changes after marriage.
The show will be launched in January on &TV and the promo was shot yesterday. The show also stars Splitsvilla fame Abhishek Malik and Aadhe Adhoore actor Sonali Nikam in the lead alongside Sneha Gupta, Latika Gill, Kushagra Dua and Rupin Pahwa. While Sonali plays the bhabhi, Sneha and Latika play are her sisters-in-law. Sneha and Latika are paired opposite Rupin and Kushagra.
While the first show was a biopic on the musical journey of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, Nivedita is now setting her foot to do a commercial show targeting a wider audience.
Veteran actors Himani Shivpuri and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame Tasneem Sheikh also play vital characters in Nivedita’s story.
