Television and Bollywood actress Gauahar Khan lost her ailing father this morning. The actress has now taken to her Instagram stories to give an update on his funeral which will take place today. Also, Gauahar in her post has requested to arrange for dua in the masjid for her late father.
Gauahar in her post wrote, "Assalamualaikum Alhamdulillah today being jummah please arrange a dua by the imam in your jummah praying masjid's for my dad Zafar Ahmed Khan and his maghfirat. Zafar Ahmed Khan had been keeping unwell for some time. Gauahar’s friend Preeti Simoes broke the heartbreaking news of his demise on social media. She shared a video on her Instagram and wrote, “Mere Gauahar ke pappa...To the man i loved...Lived with pride ... and will be remembered with pride. Strength and Love to the family." Gauahar Khan had been sharing pictures from the hospital, and had been asking fans to pray for her father. Gauahar Khan’s husband Zaid Darbar had also asked fans to pray for his father-in-law. “Please keep my father in law in your Duaa. Allah gives him the best of health. Ameen! He's the coolest man I know. Alhamdulillah."
