Actor Gauahar Khan lost her father today. Gauhar's dad Zafar Ahmed Khan was keeping unwell for quite some time and was hospitalised in a Mumbai hospital. The actress had been constantly posting about his health and requesting her friends and followers to pray for him.
However, he took his last breath today. The actress has shared a post for him calling him her forever shining star. As soon as her post went up, a lot of celebrities paid their condolences.
Sharing a picture of him Gauahar wrote, "My Hero. No man like u, Ever ! My father has passed , to the ever after as an Angel . Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life n the best soul he was . Forever My Pappa . I love you oh so much . I am sooooo much of you Pappa . N yet can never ever be even a percent of your magnanimous personality. #MyForeverShiningStar."
On Gauahar's post, Kishwer Merchant wrote, 'Verified Deepest condolences.. strength to family'. Kushal Tandon commented with RIP with a heart and crying emoji with joining hands'. Mahhi Vij said, 'Love you uncle with a heart'. Mnay others expressed their sorrow too:
The funeral will take place today and giving an update about the same, Gauahar on her Instagram story mentioned, "Assalamualaikum Alhamdulillah today being jummah please arrange a dua by the imam in your jummah praying masjid's for my dad Zafar Ahmed Khan and his maghfirat. Funeral is after Zohar namaz. InshaAllah Alhamdulillah JazakAllah!"
