Actor Gautam Rode recently underwent surgery at a hospital in Gurgaon and is currently recovering. His surgery took place on July 28 and revealed that he will be getting discharged in a day or two. However, on Thursday, the Saraswatichandra star took to his Instagram account to share a picture of himself. In the picture, he is seen wearing hospital scrubs while flashing a victory sign. Rode revealed that he has not come out of a back surgery yet. Sharing the picture on his account, the actor also penned a thank you for the doctors.
He wrote, “Doesn’t look like I’ve come out of a back surgery. A big thank you to Dr. Sandeep Vaishya (Neurosurgeon), Dr. Subhash (Orthopaedic), Dr. Jha (Physiotherapy Head) and the entire staff of Fortis Gurugram @fortis.healthcare for being so hospitable and taking such good care” After the picture was shared, Rohit Bose commented, “Arre Baap re take care bro! Rest well… and DONT be a hero Kuch din chill karo” while Karanveer Mehra said, “Wow looks like an ad shoot brah ..! Bounce back soon”
Talking about his surgery to TOI, he said, “My surgery was on July 28 and it was for my back. The surgery went well and I will be discharged in a day or two. I will be taking a few weeks of physiotherapy and then I am hoping to get back to my workout. I have to take precautions for a few weeks and I will be better then. I will wait to be back at the gym”.
