Actress Gulki Joshi, who is currently playing the role of a cop in the show Maddam Sir on Sab TV, says one should remember the sacrifices our national heroes have made for our nation. These heroes also include the frontline warriors who gave their time and energy to help the nation during the Covid pandemic. On the occasion of our Independence Day, Spotboye.com got in touch with her. She said, "I think Independence day has always played a very important part in our lives. On this day, we remember the national heroes, who have played a key role in making our country free, hoist the flag, and also listen to songs based on freedom."
"But I think this Independence Day will have a new meaning altogether. I will dedicate this day to the covid warriors, the doctors, the hospital staff, the police, who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe from the deadly virus Covid and also to the people who rose in the situation and helped the needy. This Independence Day should be dedicated to all those people." When asked about her plans for the day, she said, "I think I might be shooting on the day but if I get an off, then I will engage myself in the cultural activities in the society. I will enjoy the day to the fullest and pray that the country gets independence from the clutches of the deadly virus Covid."
