Independence Day 2021 Special: Sharad Malhotra, Deepika Singh, Jasmin Bhasin And Roopal Tyagi Share How They Ensure Making India A Better Place To Live In - EXCLUSIVE
India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2021. Every Indian, including TV and Bollywood stars, are drenched in the patriotic spirit. SpotBoyE.com got in touch with a few celebrities to know what patriotism means to them. Actors like Sharad Malhotra, Deepika Singh, Jasmin Bhasin, Roopal Tyagi, Shardul Pandit, Sneha Namanandi, and Akanksha Juneja share how they ensure making India a better place to live in.

Sharad Malhotra: Pollution is a major problem in India. I ensure that I don't throw garbage anywhere. Wet and dry garbage are separated in the house. I don't spit on the road and I ensure that no one throws garbage on the road or on the set. Everyone needs to make an effort to make India clean. At least after the pandemic, we should realise hygiene and health are most important.

Deepika Singh: Making our young kids understand the value of nutrition and a disciplined lifestyle. Making our young boys understand that kitchen and household activities are not only the responsibility of women. Making kids aware that men and women are equal. Making them understand the value of humility, respect, and honesty with these they can build successful relationships which in turn brings success to them.

Jasmin Bhasin: The pollution by cars is one of the reasons for global warming. I ensure that my vehicles are serviced timely and pollution checks are also done timely. Just because we have been traveling less because of the pandemic, it doesn't mean that the cars don't need pollution checks. We should also encourage carpooling.

Roopal Tyagi: I think the most important thing right now is awareness. It’s time for us to start performing as individuals, on every level, in a more sensible and conscious manner. Once that happens, the rest will fall into place. I do my best to spread that awareness in whatever way I can, and I also constantly learn to expand my own consciousness.

Akanksha Juneja: One thing I will do towards making a better India is I will try and educate people because with education comes wisdom. Wisdom is the path to a better world.

Shardul Pandit: There is a lot that we all can do first thing starting by wearing your mask on the nose and not under it, getting vaccinated, and please please stop talking negatively about our own country. Bade bade campaigns social causes ki zaroorat nahin if you can start owning your own country. I mean we are the same people who if we travel to Dubai, Singapore, or Europe follow queues, rules to phir yahaan kyun nahin? Vande Mataram kurta pehenke post mat karo mean it.

Sneha Namanandi: To make a better India, we must have pet shelters. The laws towards animal cruelty should be enforced. Pets shouldn't be abandoned on the streets. I have opened a pet café called The pet station and I intend to open pet shelters also in the future.

Riya Sharma: We meet and see several people, animals starving on a daily basis. This is what I usually do; I carry leftovers if they still can be eaten or extra rotis, fruits, vegetables anything in the kitchen which can fill up somebody’s stomach while leaving for work. Try it, make it your habit. This little act of kindness will make someone’s day! Kill hunger. This is the least we can do towards making a better India. isko is feature mein add kardo on third number
