Over the past few months, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has become one of the most discussed Indian television serials on social media. Starring Neil Bhatt, Harshad Arora and Ayesha Singh in the roles of Virat Chavan, Satya Adhikari and Sai Joshi, the show enjoys a huge fan base. After having a successful run on television with the original cast for over two years, the makers are all set to introduce a generational leap on the show.
Amidst everything, Harshad recently took to his official handle to bid farewell to his character Dr Satya Adhikari. The actor who entered the show two months ago, as Sai’s second love interest, raked in love and adoration from the fans for his portrayal of the fierce doctor. While he didn’t post a heartfelt caption, he published a compilation of his pictures from his vanity dressed as Satya. He then added the hashtags “#satya #gumhaikisikeykepyaarmeiin @starplus #farewell #astalavista (waving hand emoji)” in his caption. Fans took to the comment section of his farewell post to express their sadness. They heaped praises on his performance and showered him with compliments for leaving a lasting impression on everyone for his character Satya. One wrote, “is your last shot done ? Are you the victim of the upcoming accident?” Another wrote, “Yaar Satya made GHKKPM watchable and now so fastly the leap .... Ever since the makers announced the generational leap in the show, various speculations started doing the rounds on the internet. From the lead actors refusing to age on-screen to them demanding a hike in their fees, all the rumours were put to rest when Ayesha Singh expressed how the show had run its course. Even the makers expressed how they want to focus on the new story with new characters.
With Sai having overheard Satya and Virat’s drunken declaration of their love for her, it will be a waiting game to see who she chooses and how their characters exit from the show.
