The show which stars Karan Suchak and Jiyaa Shankar in lead roles is failing to impress the audience. In spite of creative experiments in the track, it's not going well in terms of numbers and hence the channel has decided to pull the plugs on the show.
A source close to the serial informed us that the crew will shoot for the last day next week. Most probably, a new show called Ek Mahanayak: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar will be replacing it. The show is based on real life story of the great man.
Talking about Meri Hanikarak Biwi, it went on-air in December 2017. It revolves around Akhilesh, a village simpleton whose world turns upside-down when his doctor fiancée accidentally performs a vasectomy on him before their wedding. After successfully running on the TV screens for two years, Meri Hanikarak Biwi is set to bid adieu to the viewers this December.
Recently, the team had celebrated glorious 500 episodes run with a gathering wherein the cut the cake and had a blast. Well, it’s quite unfortunate that the show is coming to a close next month.
