Himanshi Khurana On Shehnaaz Gill's Condition After Sidharth Shukla's Demise: 'Asim And I Discuss How She Needs Rita Aunty And She Should Be Under Her Guidance'

Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise last month came as a huge shock to the industry. The late Sidharth Shukla saw unprecedented success after he won Bigg Boss 13. He also met Shehnaaz Gill on the show, and they together came to be known as SidNaaz. The two were reportedly planning to tie the knot in December, and hence, Sidharth's death has thrown Shehnaaz into a shell. She has been keeping away from the media glare since September 2, and only participated in the promotional duties of her recently released Punjabi movie, Honsla Rakh.
Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana, who too was one of the contestants on BB13, had a kind of history with Shehnaaz. The two were at loggerheads before the show, but mended things inside the house. Himanshi has now spoken about Shehnaaz's state after Sidharth, and how his mother, Rita Shukla, can be a huge support for her.
She told Etimes TV that she and her beau Asim Riaz - who she also met on Bigg Boss 13 - and often discuss SidNaaz. “Asim and I discuss how Shehnaaz needs Rita aunty and she should be under her guidance. Shehnaaz is currently not in that frame of mind. Aisi haalat mein nahi hai ke sab kuch soojh boojh se kar sake…. It is a very tough situation for everyone and Shehnaaz has never seen a phase like this. I feel no one should go through this pain. Right now, she needs someone mature and strong who can help her to move ahead in life. Because she is in this tough profession," she said.
“According to our religion when a person dies, he gets detached from all his bonds and relationships. We should remember him always and he will always hold a special place in the hearts of everyone. We will remember him always but we should not make Shehnaaz remember the trauma or pain of his demise. She added, “As a girl I feel she needs a very strong support and I am very glad that Sidharth’s mother is with her during this tough phase. Asim had gone to attend his last rites and he told me that Sidharth’s mother is a very strong lady and how she handled everything.”
