Actor Hina Khan lost her father in April, this year. Her father, Aslam Khan passed away on April 20 suffering a cardiac arrest. Hina, who was extremely close to her father took to her social media to share a video of her mom and her, celebrating her dad's birthday. On her father's birth anniversary, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress shared the video and penned a long caption, talking about grief.
Hina made a post on Sunday and posted a video featuring her mom. The emotional video sees Khan's mom crying bitterly as she cuts the cake, celebrating the birth anniversary of her husband. Hina is filming the video, capturing the heart-breaking moment.

Sharing the video, Hina Khan penned a long caption and spoke about pain and grief. Hina wrote, "Loss that is incomprehensible makes us feel bitter about life.. But to be able to create our own silver lining takes depth, courage, strength and will .. I have definitely got that from my mother.. I can’t imagine or know anyone stronger.. she chose to celebrate it and decided to cut the cake on His behalf..she’s both the source and inspiration for my strength.." She even shared why she posted the visuals of her courageous yet sobbing mother. Khan added, "At first I wasn’t sure about posting these visuals of a courageous yet sobbing mother who’s fighting it out for THE ONE she loved and the ones who love her ..But just like we have to experience all possible human emotions.. I think to keep our social media presence as real as possible.. we must show the vulnerabilities.. the teary eyes, the sobs and grief ..Because we must accept us as a whole human being .. with all sides .. hopefully this will make us more tolerant to accept everyone else ..And that I learned from my beloved Father .."
Hina Khan requested her followers to keep her father in prayers. She wished her dad and mentioned her family will always love him.
Meanwhile, after her father's sudden demise, Hina Khan has shared pictures and dedicated posts to her dad, remembering him.
