Designer Swapnil Shinde came out of the closet as a transwoman, he penned a long Instagram post sharing how it took years for the designer to reveal his identity. Popular actress Hina Khan, hailed the designer for his courageous decision; Hina had worked with the designer. The Naagin 5 actress lauding his decision shared more than gender and identity, one needs to be connected from with the soul. She also spoke about his work and exclusively it has.
Hina’s post read, “Identity can originate on the basis of gender but to identify with it, one has to be soulfully connected to it. The warmth and inclusiveness, the creativity and liberalism, the caliber and candour that you possess dear Saisha .. is based on the power of your soul.” Further adding she praised about not following societal norms and thanked him for collaborating with her. “You choose to do what others forgo because of societal norms and I have witnessed it the way you have warmly included me on basis of my ability not the means to show it,” she added.
Further in her post she mentioned though she doesn’t know him personally, she is spellbound with his decision, calling him a beautiful soul on the concluding note.
“I may not know you personally but I know you enough to say one thing.. what you did takes more than grit, it takes more than courage and it takes more than self awareness.. it is the byproduct of the power of your soul.
