On April 20, television actress Hina Khan’s father passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at home. Hina Khan had been in Kashmir due to her work commitment when the heartbreaking news of her father’s demise surfaced. Hina rushed back to Mumbai, and was spotted at the airport looking devastated. Condolences soon poured in from Hina’s colleagues, on social media. Now, a few days after her father’s demise, Hina Khan shared a post on Instagram, informing her fans that she will be taking a break from social media.
Hina Khan recently took to her Instagram stories, and shared a note informing everyone that she will be taking a break from social media post her father’s demise. She wrote that she and her family are mourning the huge loss, and thanked everyone for their love and support in these dark hours. Her social media will be handled by her team for keeping the fans updated about her upcoming projects and work commitments which are in the pipeline.
“My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th of April, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While me and my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by my team for upcoming work commitments. Thank you for you support and love. Hina Khan,” read her post.

In other news, as Hina Khan was spotted by the paparazzi arriving in Mumbai on April 20, she was seen politely asking the paps to let her go. As a video of her being hounded by the paparazzi surfaced on social media, Vikas Gupta, Himanshi Khurana and many others slammed the photographers for following her while she was grieving her father's death.
