Hina Khan’s debut appearance at the French Riviera earned praise from several quarters but Filmfare Editor Jitesh Pillaai poked fun of her outfit. It erupted into a huge controversy with several fans and friends from the industry bashing the man. Eventually, Jitesh apologised and the actress too accepted his apology. While, we thought that everything is over, now another loyal friend of the actress, Nakuul Mehta has written an open letter to the editor for his comment, “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?".

In his 3 page long letter Nakuul has discussed about the thought process of the industry and credit given as per the medium. Also, at the end of the letter he has made an appeal to come together and create bonds. Nakuul captioned the open letter as, "Dear @jiteshpillaai ,Thank you ... CC: @eyehinakhan


For those who have come in late, Filmfare Editor Jitesh Pillaai’s had posted comment on the actress’ appearance at Cannes International Film Festival 2019, which didn’t go down well with the Twitterati. Sharing Hina’s picture from red carpet, Jitesh had written, “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?" The barrage of tweets was so strong that we bet Jitesh must not have even dreamt that a comment on Hina's appearance in Cannes 2019 would invite such wrath against him.  Several TV and B-Town celebs including Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Siddhu, Arjun Bijlani, Nia Sharma, Kavita Kaushik, Ekta Kapoor, Farah Khan, Salman Khan came out in support of the actress and blasted Jitesh. 






Hina Khan aka Komolika of Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, who has been ruling the small screen since her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai days, was amongst the first ones to walk at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival 2019, this year.  The actress marked an appearance in a Ziad Nakad creation. Hina shined like a bright star in a cape sleeve gown with minimal make-up and natural pink lips. Today, she has took to the red carpet again in a silver metallic gown, looking gorgeous.
