Hindustani Bhau has been arrested in Mumbai for 'instigating' students
Hindustani Bhau is making headlines for controversial reasons. The Bigg Boss 13 fame and social media influencer, whose original name is Vikas Fathak, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly instigating the students to protest against the offline exams for classes 10 and 12. An FIR was lodged against the BB13 fame and others who were involved in the protest. As per reports, the students hit the roads in the city after Fhatak's video took the social media by storm. Hindustani Bhau was seen talking in favour of the online exams for classes 10 and 12 and the students protested demanding the same.
Police on Monday said that they will take action against Hindustani Bhau for instigating students. "Monday's student protest was massive leading to baton charges by police. In Nagpur, agitating students damaged two buses," police said.
"In these two years, many people died because of COVID. Till now, families are recovering from the shock. And now the new drama of Omicron has started. What is this? The government is urging people to remain indoors.," Hindustani Bhau said in a YouTube video on January 24 "Exams cancel karo. bacho ke jaan ke saath mat kehlo warna hoga fir se andolan." Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone V, Pranay Ashok said, "The action will be taken as per the law against anyone responsible for instigating students."
Hindustani Bhau had also made headlines when his account was suspended from Instagram for violating their community guidelines. Hindustani Bhau's Instagram account was reported by many app users for promoting hate speech.
