HIT OR FLOP: Anupamaa Tops TRP List, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Secures Second Spot; Bigg Boss 16 Is Out Of Top 5 Shows Of This Week

It’s time to tell you how your favourite television shows have performed in week 43 as the TRP report is out. Maintaining its top spot, Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer ‘Anupamaa’ is indeed giving a tough fight to all other shows. For the past few weeks, it has maintained its top position owing to the huge drama seen in the show that has kept the viewers all hooked. Even Neil Bhatt’s ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ too has been grabbing the second position for the past few weeks.
This week, Rajan Shahi’s ‘Anupamaa’ secured the first position with a TRP rating of 2.8. As compared to last week's 2.7 points, there is a slight increase in the TRP. The current track of the show focuses on Anupama’s struggles as her daughter Pakhi has turned against her and leaves no chance to humiliate her mother. In the forthcoming episodes, an angry Anupama will ask Pakhi to leave her house with her husband Adhvik. Moving on, this week, also Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is not very far behind Anupamaa. It secured the second spot with a rating of 2.7. Notably, the third position on the TRP list has been grabbed by Star Plus' new show Faltu. Aakash Ahuja and Niharika Chouksey starrer got a rating of 2.3. It has replaced ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ which was in the 3rd spot last week with a rating of 2.2 points.
While Harshad Chopda’s show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' stands at the fourth position with a rating of 2.1, Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra’s ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ slipped down to the fifth position with a rating of 2.1. Interestingly, Salman Khan hosted show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ has failed to make its place in the top five shows of this week. The controversial reality show is low on TRPs and this week, it received a poor rating of 1.6.
