HIT OR FLOP: Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa Grabs The Top Spot Again; Indian Idol 12 Re-Enters The TRP List

We are back with this week’s BARC TRP ratings where we get to see which daily soaps have surpassed which ones or what shows have slipped down or dropped out of the TRP list. This time, we are going to talk about shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Indian Idol 12 and Imli. For quite some time now, Anupamaa and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have been battling it out with each other it seems. This week’s TRP list might surprise you a bit as Anupamaa once again claimed the top spot, dethroning Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin while interestingly, Indian Idol 12 comes back in the top 5 list.
Talking about Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer which airs on Star Plus is one the most-watched shows. After her divorce from Vanraj and his marriage to Kavya, one is wondering how will Anupamaa unfold her life now. The curiosity amassed 8464 impressions, thus claiming the first position in the TRP list. Next comes Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the quirky love story between Sai and Virat is making the viewers fall in love. The show comes in the second position with 8098 impressions this week.
Another show of Star Plus, Gashmeer Mahajani, Sumbul Touqeer and Mayuri Deshmukh starrer Imli is high on drama. The show grabs the third spot as it earned 7448 impressions this week. For the past two weeks, India Idol 12 was seen missing from the TRP list. Due to numerous controversies, the singing reality show failed to grab viewers attention. However, much to everyone’s surprise, Indian Idol 12 re-enters the list as it stays at the fourth position by amassing 7107 impressions.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running shows. Last week, it was in the fifth position while this week too, the show maintained its position. Asim Modi’s creation has got 6964 impressions.
