Sai Ketan Rao, known for his portrayal of Surya Reddy in Star Plus' popular show Imlie, faced a distressing incident during a recent filming session. While shooting an intense sequence on a moving bus alongside his co-star Adrija Roy, Sai was unexpectedly struck by a tree branch, resulting in swelling near his eye and forehead, accompanied by considerable pain.
Recounting the unfortunate event, Sai shared, "As the bus was in motion, a tree branch collided with my face, causing significant discomfort, swelling near my eye and forehead, and minor scratches. The branches were at the same level as the bus, leading to the mishap. The production team promptly administered first aid, halting the shoot momentarily. However, with their swift assistance and the unwavering support of my crew, I was able to recuperate and resume filming."
In a prior instance, Sai had been approached for participation in Bigg Boss OTT, but he decided to prioritize his current commitments and focus on his acting endeavors. Transitioning from his previous role as Agastya to the dynamic character of Surya Reddy, Sai's dedication to his craft shines through despite the challenges encountered on set.
