Sumbul Touqeer gets injured on the sets of ‘Entertainment Ki Raat’ while shooting an episode with ‘Imlie’co-star Fahmaan Khan
TV actress Sumbul Touqeer rose to fame with her brilliant stint on the daily soap ‘Imlie’ which earned her a household name. Her chemistry with co-star Fahmaan Khan was loved by all and fans have been waiting to see them together in a new project. Notably, Sumbul and Fahmaan have collaborated for the comedy show ‘Entertainment Ki Raat’ and have been busy shooting for the same. As per reports latest reports, the ex-Bigg Boss 16 contestant got injured on the sets.
As reported by Filmibeat.com, Sumbul sustained minor injuries on her face and leg while she was shooting for a game against Fahmaan. The actor has confirmed that she is doing fine now. Talking about it, Sumbul said, “Pair me, muh pe lagi.” She also spoke about her experience of working with Fahmaan and stated “Bohot mara mere ko, wahi lag gayi. But thik hai, maza aaya. Bohot maza aaya.” The show marks Sumbul and Fahmaan’s second outing together after Starplus’ show Imlie where they played main leads. In the Colors TV’s show Entertainment Ki Raat, the duo was seen playing some fun games and will be doing tasks, competing against each other. They will be joined by Shiv Thakare and Nikki Tamboli for the episode.
Recently, Touqeer rubbished the rumours of her father not letting her shoot a music video with Fahmaan. She released a statement on social media where she said, “I wanted to give you all some clarity that I was going to shoot a song with Fahmaan for which there was a shoot on 19th March. We had taken a well-known singer's song and had given priority to this song rather than Tabish’s song. Besides Imlie, Sumbul has also starred in shows like Jodha Akhbar, Waaris, Chandragupta Maurya, and more. She made her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15. She recently made headlines owing to her participation in Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss 16.
