Indian television has given the audiences many talented actors that have gone on to become some of the most cherished. With their sheer hard work and talent, the celebrities often become a household name, however, as time goes by new content is made paving way for fresh talents. In the midst of it all we have lost many talented actors, one of them being KK Goswami who rose to fame with projects like Ssshhhh…Koi Hai, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Shaktimaan.

Well, he recently made the headlines when his car caught on fire and his 21-year-old son Navdeep was behind the wheels. He had gone to share his son is safe and that they have only incurred the loss of their car. Now during a recent interview, he spoke about how he has been struggling to make ends meet for quite some time now. Revealing that he has also approached Ekta Kapoor. 


As reported by India Today, while talking about the lack of opportunities he explained how it bothers him a lot that even after doing iconic shows and essaying unforgettable characters, he doesn’t have any work today. He further added, “Kabhi socha nahi tha ki mere pass shows hi nahi honge. I’m waiting for a good show.” When asked if it makes him feel sad, he said, “Kya bura feel hoga, humne jaha se shuru kiya hai we have come a long way. I’m still doing work. (But) the work that I’m doing (right now) is for survival.”

The Gutur Gu actor further added that he recently bumped into Ekta Kapoor and requested her for work. He added that not only did the filmmaker acknowledge him but also asked one of her managers to take his number. 

For the unversed, the actor made his big debut and received recognition in Junior-G as a supportive villain. He had gone on to essay the leading role in Vikraal Aur Gabraal as Gabroo/Gabraal, which he continued in Star Plus’s Ssshhhh…Koi Hai. He was last seen in daily shows like Shaktiman where he played Khali Bali and Pappu Maharaj the Chief in Gutur Gu.
