Kapil Sharma has already won over the Indian audience with his comic timing. And now, he has worked his magic in London too. The stand-up comedian and the rest of the team from The Kapil Sharma Show – Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar – performed live at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London this week. With this, he became the first Indian stand-up comedian to have the honour of performing at Wembley. And from what we hear, the show was a runaway success. SpotboyE.com has got you pictures straight from Ground Zero.
The show was announced in early July and the tickets were said to have been sold out in no time. On August 20, the show opened to a packed house and Kapil’s entry on the stage was accompanied by a thunderous applause. Singer Sonu Nigam too took time out to attend the show.
What’s more, the show was originally scheduled for 2 hours. But the crowd just couldn’t get enough of Kapil and his jokes. Sensing their excitement, Kapil & Co. decided to extend the duration of the show to 3 hours.
Kapil and his team are on their way back to India.
