India’s Best Dancer 3: Contestant Ram Bisht Reunites With His Mom After 7 Years During Mother’s Day Special Episode
Fans of India’s Best Dancer season 3 are going to be in for a treat as the upcoming weekend will see the 'Best Ka Double Test' on Saturday and the 'Battle of the Best' on Sunday. For the first challenge, two-three contestants along with their choreographers will be performing together to win the hearts of the judges, and for the second one the contestants will be battling each other in an epic dance-off to prove their mettle. If reports by Zee News are to be believed, contestants Ram Bisht and Apeksha Londhe’s dance off on the song ‘Dum Dum Mast Hai,’ will leave the judges impressed.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Geeta Kapur will plan a surprise for Bisht, where she will reunite the 25-year-old with his parents after seven years. The reunion will surely leave everyone teary-eyed. The dancer will go on to recall how over the past seven years, he had only met his father once, having called him when he was in Punjab. He will get emotional as he shares how he never met his mother before returning to Mumbai. Expressing his gratitude, he says, “I could have gone back but I was chasing the dreams of my life and I always want to see them happy as I come closer to achieving my dreams.”

Ram will go down the memory lane as he explains that his mother always supported his dreams despite not being financially well off. Quoted by the publication, he says, “my father would pay my school fees and my mother would then convince my principal to let me use the school fees for my dance classes. I wanted to go to a dance competition and at that time, my mother used to earn 200 rupees a day. She worked for a whole month, earned 1500 rupees and paid for my entrance fee into the competition. She always wanted me to pursue my dreams. I want to tell my mother a big thank you.”

For the unversed, the current season sees Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre as the judges. Hosted by Jay Bhanushali, the show airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
