There has been a rapid increase in the number of Coronavirus cases in Maharashtra. Just a few days ago, Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal tested positive for COVID-19. Aditya Narayan is under home quarantine, recovering from the virus. And now, as per latest reports, Pawandeep Rajan, one of Indian Idol 12’s most popular contestants, has also tested positive for Coronavirus. While he was isolated, and has been put under quarantine, looks like he will still be a part of the show virtually in the upcoming episodes.
According to a report in Indian Express, other contestants, judges and the crew of Indian Idol 12 also got tested after Pawandeep Rajan’s report came back positive. Their reports are expected soon. A source informed the publication that even though most contestants are in a kind of bio bubble, the risk has increased ever since there has been a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra. Pawandeep started showing symptoms, after which he was immediately isolated and he got tested for Coronavirus.
Pawandeep will now be performing virtually from his hotel room. The source added that even though Pawandeep wasn’t shooting when he tested positive, his COVID-19 diagnosis did cause a little worry to the team. The source added that none of the other contestants are showing any symptoms, and that their reports should be expected soon.
Meanwhile, Aditya Narayan has been sharing updates about his health. He is currently under home quarantine, and he recently shared a selfie from his home, revealing that COVID-19 has made him ‘sexier’. He wrote, “SARS-Covid has taken a toll on me, it has made me sexier#heysexy #thankscovid.” ALSO READ: Indian Idol 1 Winner Abhijeet Sawant Tests Positive For COVID-19; Informs Fans, Reveals He Was Not Well
