Indian Idol 12 contestant Pawandeep Rajan poured his heart out, also was it for his fellow contestant Arunita Kanjilal
The romance was in the air on the sets of the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12. After Neetu Kapoor, the upcoming episode will be graced by Bollywood’s power couple, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. Contestant Arunita Kanjilal’s fan club posted the latest video where after her performance, she prepares onion fritters which were relished by judges Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik. Host Aditya Narayan in the video clip was seen wishing that Pawandeep Rajan also gets a beautiful partner in his life who prepares piping hot fritters for him.
This got Pawandeep confessing that he feels he is in love, crediting the monsoon season as it often gets a romantic vibe. This comment of Pawandeep got Arunita surprised and judges cheering. The audience has liked Pawandeep and Arunita singing prowess and has urged the makers to team them up for duets as well. The duo crooned for Himesh Reshammiya’s recently released album, Moods with Melodies. The duet they crooned is titled Tere Baghairr and was out on the digital platform on June 23.

A few weeks ago, host Aditya Narayan had revealed the love story projected between Pawandeep and Arunita being fake and being crafted for the audience’s entertainment. He said, “Hum masti karte hai (We are just having some fun). People say that we cook up make-believe affairs on reality shows. So what? Did we ever say no? We do it. Ye dhong hai (This is all lie). But you enjoy it no? Because we love to do it.”
