Support and motivation coming in from such notable personalities have offered the contestants the much-needed boost and eventually led to an organic increase in their popularity. Giving a shout-out to all those celebrities who support nothing but real talent, we have listed down the ones who came out and promoted real and raw talent:

- Karan Johar-  Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal
Donning multiple hats of a director, producer, filmmaker, host, and many more, Karan Johar is a living legend known for promoting new talent in the industry. Just as his nature goes - of uplifting good talent, he couldn’t resist showing support to Indian Idol 12’s casket full of brimming talent. He took to his Twitter handle and shared, "blown away by the talent" on Indian Idol 12. He found the singers "incredible", and also went on to say that he “can't wait to work with these talented singers". What more does one need than an irresistible offer like this from KJo himself? The cherry on the cake was when he appeared as a guest judge on the show and acknowledged the talents of all six finalists. Not only this, he extended an invitation to contestants Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal and welcomed them with open arms to the Dharma family! What more would one want?

- Virendra Sehwag – Pawandeep Rajan
Former cricketer Virender Sehwag tweeted a message of encouragement for Indian Idol 12 contestant Pawandeep Rajan, who hails from the city of Champawat in Uttarakhand. Sehwag shared a video of Pawandeep's performance on his Twitter handle, and mentioned, "small towns have so much talent". Kudos to Virender Sehwag for enjoying and acknowledging the talent chosen by Indian Idol.

- Vinod Kambli – Mohd Danish
Mohd Danish has been the reigning king of alaaps and high pitch notes. And, who isn’t awestruck by his voice. In an episode on Indian Idol, he sang the pitch-perfect rendition of Sukhwinder Singh's "Lagan laagi". As his voice touched the hearts of India, it also struck a chord with Vinod Kambli. Former Indian cricketer took to his social media and tweeted, “hit right in the feels.” He also said, “…it seemed like it was Sukhwinder himself who was singing it”.

- Manish Malhotra – Shanmukhapriya
We all know how Kishore Kumar relentlessly and effortlessly amazed the listeners with his Yodeling techniques. Reviving those yodeling notes, Indian Idol 12 presented a prospective candidate who ruled the listener's hearts with her yodeling tactics. As Himesh Reshammiya rightly calls her the ‘8th Wonder’, it seems as though India agrees with him. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s eyes and ears were caught by Shanmukhapriya’s power-packed performance, he couldn’t stop himself from taking to his Instagram page and appreciating her singing and performance.

- Navya Naveli Nanda – Sawai Bhatt
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda had been rooting for Indian Idol 12 contestant Sawai Bhatt. A singer with a powerful voice and a touch of Rajasthani folk. Navya did not only take to her Instagram to share a video grab of one of his performances but had her own "fangirl moment" when Sawai reposted her Story. Saddened by his eviction, Navya continued to encourage him and said "keep singing and shining."
