Aditya Narayan expressed being overwhelmed to have Asha Bhosle on Indian Idol 12, makers have titled the upcoming weekend episode as Asha Bhosle Special
As the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12, inches closer to its finale, the upcoming weekend episode will have none other than the legendary singer Asha Bhosle gracing the show. The makers have titled this episode as Asha Bhosle Special; show’s host Aditya Narayan dropped a picture with the legendary singer on his Instagram account. Gushing over her, he called her ‘goddess of music’. This followed by sharing that the show is blessed to have her on the weekend episode.
His Instagram caption read, “The goddess of music herself, Padma Vibhushan @asha.bhosle Ji descends upon the stage of #IndianIdol to bless us with her presence this weekend” So far the GEC has dropped 3 promos giving a glimpse of what’s going to happen on the weekend episode. These promos feature 3 contestants from the top 7 list such as Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal and Ashish Kulkarni. Pawandeep was seen grooving with the legend, Arunita crooned to Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja, while Ashish sang Bhule Se Naam Na Lo Pyar Ka.

Recently Ashish Kulkarni clarified that the show is not being scripted as per speculations, he shared it is natural and organic. He also spoke about contestants being matured enough to take trolls positively and work on their performances whenever criticized.
As per reports in Tellychakkar.com, the makers are planning to air the finale episode of Indian Idol 12 on Independence day on August 15, 2021. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.
