Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar is currently neck-deep in judging the singing reality show Indian Idol 12. Well, we often come across some of the other exciting news from the same, but the latest one will surely bring a smile on your face. It so happened that the Khyaal Rakhya Kar singer took Shantabai Pawar AKA Warrior Aaji by a fine surprise after gifting her an amount worth Rs 1 lakh. For those unaware, Shantibai got famous after a video of her performing lathi stunts on the streets got viral.

Interestingly, Shantabai has also been a body-double to various Bollywood celebrities in the 80s and 90s. Sharing her story on the sets of Indian Idol 12, the veteran said, "I'm performing since I was eight years old. People mostly remain indoors due to Covid, so I clang utensils to make them aware of my performance. I now take care of 10 orphan girls and provide for them. There are times when I go hungry in order to feed these girls." This made Neha Kakkar emotional, at the same time she was very inspired. The singer then decided to support Pawar by giving her Rs 1 lakh. A noble gesture indeed!
