Indian Idol 12: Neha Kakkar On Having Anxiety Issues; Says ‘My Bodily Issues Always Disturbed Me A Lot’

Singer and Indian Idol 12 judge Neha Kakkar has won the hearts of her fans over the years with her melodious voice and songs. Over the years since when Kakkar has been the judge of the singing reality show, she has managed to motivate the performers by pushing them and extending her support. We all are well aware of how it takes a lot of courage to talk about personal and mental health in public. Well, Neha Kakkar opened up about facing anxiety issues. She spoke about how her bodily issues disturbed her a lot.
The singer also got teary-eyed while opening up about her personal life. In the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 12, Anushka- the girl from Chandigarh sings the song Luka Chupi during the ‘Maa’ special episode. After her stellar performance, the judges couldn’t stop praising her. During the episode, Neha Kakkar got emotional after Anushka performed on the stage. At that time, Neha revealed how Anushka has faced anxiety issues. She also shared that the young singer is suffering from thyroid as well which has majorly caused her anxiety.
Neha Kakkar went on to share something related to her personal life at that moment. She revealed how she has had bodily issues. The singer said, “Though I have everything, a nice family and career but my bodily issues always disturbed me a lot, and because of which I used to face anxiety.” Neha then told Anushka that she is really proud to see her having control over herself.
Meanwhile, after listening to what Neha Kakkar had to share, Anushka revealed how the singer has always been supportive and encouraging towards her. She said, “Neha mam has always been very supportive and encouraging from the time I narrated to them that I have anxiety issues. This time when she praised me I was on cloud nine hearing appreciative words from a personality like Neha mam is like dream come true. From now I will give my 200 percent to make sure I don’t let her down.” During Anushka’s performance, her parents also had tears. They too got emotional watching their daughter perform.
