Despite Indian Idol 12 have been mired by a lot of controversies, contestants receiving criticism for their singing skills, two contestants that have managed to win not only judges’ hearts but the country’s hearts are Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal who have made the maximum noise with their melodious voice. Moreover, the two are often linked up in the show where we get to see host Aditya Narayan teasing them with one another. Though the show did receive a lot of flak for not showing the fake love angle between Pawandeep and Arunita, the two still managed to grab all the attention. 

Speaking of which, just recently, we stumbled upon a video of Pawandeep Rajan singing a folk song while dining; however, fans wonder if he is singing for Arunita Kanjilal. The romantic pop song is in Assamese and since Kanjilal is from Bongaon in West Bengal, fans started to draw lines between the two and speculating that the song must be for Arunita. Well, we don’t know if that is true or not, but enjoy his soothing vocals below. Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are always the talk of the town. Earlier, post the performance, when Anu Malik asked how did she learn the harmonium, Anjali said that with Pawandeep’s help and guidance, she managed to play it well.

She said, “Pawandeep Rajan who was kind and patient enough to train me for a couple of weeks which further gave me the confidence to perform on stage.” She further added, “I look forward to learning many musical instruments from him in the future. He is a very genuine and helpful person and I am glad to have found a tutor in him.”
