The singing reality show Indian Idol 12 has been in news for a while now. Right from Amit Kumar revealing that he was asked to praise the contestants to netizens trolling the contestants on social media, the show has been under the spotlight since its inception. Recently, contestants like Shanmukhapriya and Mohd Danish came at the radar of trollers, who slammed them for 'shouting' in their performances rather than singing soulfully.

However, now in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Mohd Danish opened up about such trolls and asserted that it does affect him. He tries hard to please people who expect much more from him. The leading daily quoted him as saying, “I won’t say that trolls don’t affect me. It does but then I don’t let such things worry me; I am trying hard so that I can please people who expect much more from me.”

He added, “Some say that my singing is more about noise however, judges at the show as well as other learned guests have showered praises for those performances. Anyway, at the end of the day I just want to make everyone happy with my singing!”

Further, speaking about his career, he mentioned that he never thought he will get so much popularity and his art of singing will reach worldwide. “I just wanted to make a name in the music industry and Indian Idol is a platform that I always knew would lead to it. Now I want to realise my dream of singing for Salman (Khan) sir, Shahrukh (Khan) sir, (AR) Rahman sir and other big composers,” Mohd Danish stated.

Meanwhile, ahead of the big finale, the makers of the show have sent all the contestants back to their respective hometowns to entertain the local crowd and to appeal to them for their votes.
