Indian Idol 12: Vishal Dadlani Will Not Return As Judge ‘Till The Quasi Lockdown Is Done With’; Aditya Narayan Cites Another Reason
For a while now, Vishal Dadlani has been missing from the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12 where he was seen as the judge. Now, music composer Vishal Dadlani recently that he will not return to Indian Idol 12 as a judge till the ‘quasi lockdown’ is over. For the unversed, the shoot of Indian Idol was commencing in Daman after the state government imposed a lockdown in shooting films and TV.

While Vishal did not travel with the Indian Idol team when they moved to Daman, he said he will not return for now. “Not till the quasi lockdown is done with,” he told TOI. Show's host Aditya Narayan had revealed the real reason for him not coming back on the set. He said, “Vishal shifted to Lonavala last year and he has shifted with his parents. He didn’t want to drive all the way from Lonavala to Daman and come back to potentially infect his parents as he is being extra careful because of his parents. I completely support that. If you have doubt then you should go with your instincts especially during these times.”

Earlier, while talking to the same portal, Narayan revealed the makers had quite a few episodes that are enough for the entire month but waiting for Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to allow them to shoot.

“We are now waiting for what Uddhav Thackerayji has to say about opening up the city. But I would say it is better to be in Mumbai as Covid is a very slimy character it is one of those villains who looks like a sidekick but turns out to be a megalomaniac and evil character. Imagine recommendations of wearing a mask at home,” he said. ALSO READ: Indian Idol 12: As Controversies Take Over The Reality Show, Aditya Narayan RESPONDS If Judges Are Asked To Be Generous While Praising Contestants - EXCLUSIVE
