Indian Idol 13: Judge Neha Kakkar Says Tough To Please Her, ‘Ek Plate Pani Puri Khila Do Main Aage Le Jaungi’

Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar is one of the most loved artists in the country. She is currently bracing herself for Indian Idol 13, which is all set to hit the television screens and spread its magic on Sony TV. Neha Kakkar will be seen as one of the judges on the show. During the digital press launch of the singing reality show, she opened up about her journey as a singer and even mentioned how can she be pleased.
The ‘Manali Trance’ singer had auditioned for Indian Idol 2 in 2006 when she was just 16 and won that season. She mentioned that as a judge she tries to make the contestants feel loved and tries make them comfortable.
She was quoted saying, “It is the biggest platform with such competent judges on board. One cannot handle being judged at home, one tends to get nervous. I can see myself in them, and feel their emotions. Thus I go all the way to make them feel confident. I want to go back home happy and sleep peacefully at night.”
The ‘Kala Chashma’ singer called her journey ‘a dream’ and said, “I cannot believe that three seasons have already passed. I feel like I just auditioned yesterday. I think the talent is so amazing this year that they will break all records.” Neha added, “I think sky is the limit for Indian Idol contestants. I am a great example, and my journey is a proof. You can do wonders when you come on this show.”
When ‘Taaron Ke Sheher’ singer was quizzed by Indian express that what attracts her to come back on the show every year. She quipped it’s her love for music. She further added “The new talent excites me every season. Being a music lover, I want to hear new and different voices. I really look forward to coming on board to listen to my favourite songs in their amazing voice.”
Aditya Narayan, the host of the show was questioned about the difficulty to please the judges, Neha said it is very difficult to please her and jokingly said “Itna difficult hai mujhe please karna. Ek plate pani puri khila do main aage le jaungi”.
The singing reality shows Indian Idol 13 will air on Sony TV from September 10, 2022. Apart from Neha Kakkar, the judging panel also includes Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani.
