Fans favourite Senjuti Das gets eliminated from the reality show Indian Idol 13
Indian Idol 13 is one of the most loved and popular singing reality shows on Indian television. The show has been grabbing eyeballs ever since it went on floors. As the singing-based show is approaching its finale, it has got its top 6 finalists- Rishi Singh, Chirag Kotwal, Debosmita Roy, Sonakshi Kar, Bidipta Chakraborty, and Shivam Singh. In the latest episode, fans' favorite Senjuti Das gets evicted from the show, leaving fans heartbroken.
The judges' scores were in the favour of Chirag but the audience's votes would make the final decision. Unfortunately, Senjuti Das has to bid goodbye to the show. She was the most loved contestant on the show as she has been consistently giving many memorable performances. Das, who hails from Kolkata, performed on the songs, ‘Aksar Iss Duniya Mein’ and ‘Qurbaan Hua’ leaving everyone impressed. After her performance, Suniel Shetty recalled how the role of his iconic character, ‘Dev’ from ‘Dhadkan’ helped him win his first award.
Suniel and singer Salim Sulaiman were the special guests on Indian Idol 13 as they had gone to promote their upcoming musical movie 'Disco Dancer – The Musical'. The Hera Pheri star shared “It took approximately three to four years to make Dhadkan. Director Dharmesh ji had come to me and before narrating the script, he told me one thing; he said that I will definitely love the character and guaranteed that I will get my first award because of the role. I was impressed by his confidence because, during that time period, many people believed that I existed only because of action films.”
Meanwhile, Indian Idol 13 judged by Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani, will reportedly have two-day finale on Saturday 1st April and Sunday 2nd April 2023.
